This nationally recognised course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to respond to first aid emergencies involving infants, children, and adults in both education and care environments and general workplace settings.
It covers recognising and responding to illness and injury, performing CPR, managing asthma and anaphylaxis emergencies, and applying first aid treatments for a range of conditions through practical scenarios and hands-on activities aligned with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.

On successful completion of this course, participants will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment, recognising their skills and competency in providing first aid and CPR in an education and care setting.

Entry Requirements
Participants must have the physical capacity to perform the practical demonstrations, including 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor and rescue breathing techniques on manikins.
