This nationally recognised course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to perform effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in emergency situations.
The training focuses on recognising cardiac arrest, responding quickly and safely, and delivering high-quality CPR in line with current Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, using practical, hands-on activities to build confidence and competence in real-world scenarios.




Participants in this course will learn how to effectively:
On successful completion of this course, participants will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment, recognising their skills and competency in providing CPR.

Entry Requirements
Participants must have the physical capacity to perform the practical demonstrations, including 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor and rescue breathing techniques on manikins.
